Y Outdoor Adventure Hub climbing wall at Mitre 10 Park is officially open!

Our climbing wall provides a fun, supportive environment where tamariki, rangatahi and adults can challenge themselves, build confidence and experience the excitement of climbing – right here in Hawke’s Bay.

Whether you're visiting with your school, community organisation, youth group, workplace or sports team, our trained instructors will help your group get the most out of the experience.

Group Bookings:

Our climbing wall is available now for school, community and group bookings.

Talk to our team about your group size, available time and what you would like to achieve from your visit, and we can help put together a programme that works for you.

Climbing can be booked as a standalone activity or combined with other Outdoor Adventure Hub activities to create a half-day or full-day programme.

Public Weekend Climbing – Coming Soon!

We are working towards offering public climbing sessions on selected weekends, giving individuals and families the opportunity to experience the climbing wall.

Our team will provide the equipment, safety briefing and instruction – you just need to bring yourself and be ready to give it a go!
