Y Youth Development Programmes
At The Y Hawke’s Bay, we’re passionate about empowering rangatahi through fun, inclusive, and supportive youth development programmes.
Join us for our weekly Youth Meets, held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5.00pm to 7.00pm at The Y. These free sessions are open to young people aged 12–15 years and are a great way to connect with others, build confidence, and have a say in what matters to you.
Every session includes:
Fun, youth-led activities
A safe and welcoming space
Free kai provided
Transport support available

Y Ki Waho Play Trailer
Our Play trailer is fun of lots of play equipment suited to older children and rangatahi, we visit local parks and provide these resources to our local communities. We always advertise on our Facebook where we will be...we are usually out and about 3 times a week, pop over and say hi if you see us...

Y Ara
We have a volunteer programme for youth where they volunteer their time to the Y or the community each month. We will write references for participants of this programme to support entry to work.
