Last school holidays, our tamariki and rangatahi had a fantastic day out at the beautiful Ranui Farm Park. Set against rolling hills and sunshine, the trip was more than just a fun day in nature—it was part of our ongoing commitment to getting kids outdoors. These experiences give young people the chance to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and try new things in a safe, supportive, team-focused environment.
And we’re just getting started.
This spring, we’re excited to take our outdoor adventures even further with a two-day experience at Guthrie Smith Outdoor Activity Centre on 1–2 October 2025. Open to children aged 5–13, families can choose to join for one or both days.
Nestled in stunning natural surroundings, Guthrie Smith offers the perfect backdrop for challenge, growth, and plenty of fun. Activities include:
Climbing wall & flying fox
Canadian canoeing
“Flying Kiwi” zipline
Tramping & team challenges
Toasting marshmallows around the fire pit
Orienteering
And an epic slip ’n’ slide!
This programme isn’t just about play—it’s about creating memories, developing resilience, and inspiring a lifelong love of the outdoors.
