Before and After School Care (AFCARE)
After School Care Fees
We charge $16.50 per day, per child for bookings 3.00pm till 6.00pm. You are welcome to pick your child up at anytime that suits you as long as it is before 6.00pm. Afternoon tea is provided free of charge. We also have a 4pm pickup option available for $8.00. Any late pick ups will be charged the full day price of $16.50
Before School Care Fees
Taradale Primary: 7.15am – 8:30am. $8.00
per morning, per child.
Arthur Miller School: 7.15am – 8.30am. $8.00
per morning, per child.
AFCARE Terms and Conditions
- The parent portion of the first week attendance is payable in advance; one week before programme start date.
ASB 12 3145 0257038 52. - Any absence from a booked day must be notified to either our customer services team, 878 3027 or to the AFCARE Site Supervisor by 1pm each day.
- Absences from a booked day are still charged for at the booked daily rate.
- CANCELLATIONS. Must be made 48 HOURS in advance otherwise the booking will be charged at the full booked daily rate.
- Absences notified less than 48 HOURS in advance will be charged at the full booked daily rate.
- If you are late to pick up your child after 4pm a late fee of $8.50 will be charged after the first five minutes. If you are late to pick up your child after 6pm a late fee of $1 (per minute) will be charged after the first five minutes.
- Additional charges will be invoiced on a weekly basis and are due for payment the following week atop your automatic payment.

Our Junior and Senior programmes operate 7.30am to 4.00pm daily ($48 per child each day). We also offer extended hours from 4:00pm through to 6:00pm ($6 per hour).

Holiday Programme terms and conditions
- Programme fees MUST be paid in advance unless you are a WINZ customer.
- WINZ customers may be required to pay a deposit of $45 per child in advance.
- You must book 2 working days before the day you wish your child to attend.
- We cannot take on-the-day registrations as we need to ensure we have the correct staff:children ratios.
- If you turn up without a booking, we will not be able to take your child.
- We will be in contact to confirm your booking.
- We recommend you book well in advance as places fill quickly.

Terms of Trade
- We are a registered charity and our terms of trade state that payments are due one week before the start of the programme.
- You are responsible for all bookings and agree to pay fees in advance or as they become due.
- Failure to make payment under these terms may result in additional action which could include further charges and/or exclusion from services.
- Please note no monies can be directly received at the programme sites.
